BEL Written Test for Probationary Engineers(PE)
I am from Computer Science and Engineering stream.
Total no.of questions:150
Test Duration:150 min
Divison Of marks:30 Aptitude,120 Technical
Correct answer +1,Wrong answer -0.25
In aptitude section,
1.A paragraph is given followed by 5 questions
2.Some bits regarding grammar are given
3.2 Data Interpretation questions are given(They're a bit time taking)
4.Statements and Arguments and whether arguments are supporting the given
statement or not
5.One question related to blood relations
etc..
In Technical Section,
For this you have to prepare the GATE Syllabus,
The questions mainly appeared from subjects like DLD,TOC,Discrete
Mathematics,DBMS,OS,CN etc..
One important point to note is that more preference is also given to maths
and almost 20 questions came from it..mainly from Numerical Methods..
One can excel in this exam only if we have thorough knowledge of the
concepts(both theoretical and numerical) of core subjects for CSE and ample
amount Of Practice can help you to score more marks..Time management also
plays an important role here ..as there is only 1 min for 1 question.SO
prepare well.
