MASTEK PATTERN & INTERVIEW - 21 JAN 2016
Hi Friends
This is Hemanth from Panimalar Engineering College... I recently got
placement in Mastek. Actually this is 9th company to which I had got
selected.
Mastek selection consists of Following Rounds:
1. Aptitude Test Cum Slight Technical Questions
2. Group Discussion
3. Technical Interview
4. HR interview
In the first section, Aptitude test, they had now changed the pattern and
increased the questions to 85 questions and each has sectional cut-off and
the questions are from Logical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, Case Study
(Flowchart), and technical questions from C++, RDBS (Mastek is basically a
RDBMS oriented Company). Overall 800 from 8 different colleges had attended
the Apps from which 396 had been shortlisted and then called for GD.
In GD session they are all eliminating almost 40% of the candidates. My
topic is "Should Filmstars Enter Politics or Not"
I just given a key point and thus I got selected... then which I gone for
Technical Interview.
The Technical Interview is More Easy.... they are asking basic questions
from RDBMS and C++ and checking for our confidence... then I went to HR
interview Which is even more easy and they are asking basic questions such
as What is your short term goal?, about family background, about your
strengths... that's it
Finally they announced results - from 44 members I am one of them.. I'm the
happiest man in the world at that time.. so friends don't loose your
confidence... confidence is the key for success.. See that I got placed in
9th company
