Tata Consultancy Services Interview Experience - Coimbatore, Dec 11, 2016
Hi friends.
After attending 5 campus interview(not even shortlisted for 1st round).
This was my 6th interview experience.
We had off - campus at skasc only for commerce streams more than 1500
students have attended the interview.
The interview process consist of 4 rounds.
1st round - Aps.
2nd round - GD.
3rd round - Technical HR.
4th round - MR.
1st round consist of 43 questions for 45 minutes. Apps includes quantitative
apps, logical reasoning, verbal & non verbal. It was quite easy. The 1st
round got over by 11.45 & then results are announced by 2 pm. They were
calling up of all names who are selected & my name was called by 5 pm. They
were segregating batch wise, each batch consist of 30 members.
Then we had 2nd round GD.
For each batch there were different different topics fog ex tell about your
fav movie, own topic you can choose any topic, self intro, etc.
Since am the 10th batch I had GD at 6.30 pm.
For our batch its a own topic each person should talk for at least 30 sec.
HR gave 2 min time. HR had a 30 members paper he said whomever name I call
out should talk for 30 sec he call'd up randomly unfortunately 1st name was
mine I stood up & talked about social media he said thank you. Like this 30
members talked then HR said whomever name I call out are moved to 3rd round.
I got selected in 2nd round. In our batch 15 were selected for next round.
Then 3rd round Technical HR.
The persons who and all were selected for 3rd round were asked to submit
their resume.
It was 7.30 pm our batch had 3rd round.
Since its a commerce streams they were asking only about commerce, accounts,
current affairs.
They called my name went in.
ME : Good evening sir.
HR : Good evening take your seat.
ME : thank you sir.
HR : Tell me about yourself.
ME : Told.
HR : Who is the president of INDIA?
ME : Told.
HR : Who is the prime minister of INDIA?
ME : Told.
HR : Who is the president of USA?
ME : Told.
HR :Take one topic and speak about that?Anything specific.
ME : Talked about my memorable days.
HR :Which country has more language?
ME : No Idea sir.
HR : Told the answer and said please make note of this.
HR : What is Liability?
ME :Told.
HR : What websites you often use?
ME : told.
HR : Do you heard of wikipedia?
ME : Told about that and its uses.
HR : Good I move you to the next round, do well.
ME : Thank you sir.
Then 4th round were postponed to next day in another college asked to arrive
sharply at 9.00 am.
MR round.
But I had MR round at 12.30 pm.
They called my name went inside and said very warm good afternoon mam. It
was a lady HR.
HR : Good afternoon please take your seat.
ME : Thank you mam.
HR : Say about yourself.
ME : Told.
HR : What you know about TCS?
ME : Told.
HR : Why TCS?say any 2 reason why you select TCS?
ME : Told.
HR : Thank you.
ME : Thank you mam.
I came out they told you are selected go and fill up your documentation
process.
Thank GOD I have selected and filled up my documentation.
Guys be confident in your answer, say boldly, if you don't know the answer
say you have no idea about that.
