Accenture Placement Paper - Noida, September 17, 2016
The Accenture recruitment drive took place on 16-17 September in which the
shortlisted students (around 730) from the written aptitude test, held a
week back, were called for the interviews. The aptitude paper was
unexpectedly tough, especially the verbal section.
Tech questions:
1) Tell me something about yourself.
2) Tell me something about your college and school.
3) What is your favorite subject? (Telecommunication)
4) What is networking?
5) In what ways does it happen? (wireless and fiber optics)
6) How do you explain in layman terms the process?
7) What is LAN, WAN, MAN?
8) What material/thing is used in antenna which is a part of transport
layer?
9) List all the layers of OSI model.
10) What is the role of presentation layer?
11) Is it necessary for encryption (in presentation layer) to take place
every time? (Yes for GSM, no for CDMA)
Though my interview was relatively easy, it was not the general case. People
were even asked about Schrodinger's equation, 4 concepts of OOPS, some
coding programs, puzzles, UNIX, microprocessors etc. Generally, if they
asked to tell your favorite subject, questions came from some other
subjects.
HR questions:
1) Branch?
2) How do you find your campus?
3) Is it grammatically correct to say "the yolk is yellow" or "the yolk are
yellow"?
4) Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
5) Explain your major project. (In layman terms)
6) What was the cutoff for placement in Accenture?
7) Location preferences?
In other interviews they also asked the core values of Accenture, strengths
and weaknesses, the reason behind location preferences etc.
