There where, 3 rounds:
1) Online Aptitude Test:
- Verbal - 25 questions - 25 min.
- Quant - 25 questions - 35 min.
The questions where mostly from RS Agrawal. Even the figures and options
where same. The main thing to worry about is time.
- Logical Reasoning - 25 questions - 35 min.
The test was conducted by AMCAT. There was no negative marking and no
sectional cut-off. But we where not able to review any question, i.e. until
and unless I don't answer the questions and confirm it I was not able to see
the next question and also I was not able to see or change answer of any
previous question.
The result where declared on the same day and out of 1800 students 400 where
shortlisted for interview.
2) Technical Interview:
- Tell me about yourself? : Told.
- Tell me more about your TE project? : Told.
(The project topic was Business related and as while introducing myself I
told that my father is a business man, his next question was related to
same).
- Can you tell me a concept for a system which will help your father in his
business for solving his problem and also first tell me the problem.
- What is algorithm?
- Can you write an algorithm as a solution to real time problem?
He was testing me whether I can apply Engineering to real world.
But also be prepared with basic concepts of all subjects we have studied.
And be prepared with all your projects and seminars.
I was immediately asked to go for HR round.
3) HR round:
- Tell me about yourself?
They will ask you next question on basis of your answer to this question, as
in my case she asked me about my BE project.
- Describe your BE project ?
And further we where discussing about the same for 5 min.
Also prepare for questions like.
