Wipro Interview Experience - Madurai, December 15, 2016
Hi friends, I want to share my experience in wipro campus interview. As
usual we were said to assemble there at 9.
Then they told to come to a auditorium, where the wipro HRs gave us some
info about wipro, stipend info etc. Then we got some idea on wipro. There
were 3 categories separated, wase for bca students, wista with maths for
maths students, and wista without maths for non maths student.
As I opted bio-comp group in my HSC, I belonged to third category. We wrote
amcat test. It was full of logical and verbal. The test was very easy and I
was sure that I will be selected for this company.
Already I did it in cts :). The result announced. As expected I was
selected. They gave some forms which asked personal details about us.
Then they told us to write essay. My topic was" are you too dependent on
computers". They gave an hint that short and crisp essays actually speak.
Therefore, I used the hint and completed the essay briefly.
Then 2nd round personal interview was called, I was a YRC volunteer, the
lady HR asked what YRC was, what we did there. I told. She asked about
myself. I told. My strength included that I was determined.
Therefore she asked me an incident when I was determined, what I achieved
with this strength. I narrated an example after thinking for a while. Then
she asked me whether you will accept posting in north India. I readily
accepted, as I resided in Mumbai for 15 years. Then they told me about their
bond offers. I was afraid because my parents were not aware of this. So, I
asked her to seek permission from my parents. She gave me time to talk with
my parents. I was afraid whether I will be rejected for this.
After I finished talking, I told the HR that they accepted. Then I was told
to wait for few minutes. Then a telecommunication round was held, where we
were told to talk to an HR who was somewhere else, he asked some personal
info. They just check our English communications. So be bold, talk in a
frank way. Then the result was announced. I was selected :).
